Zirkzee makes decision on Man Utd exit with Red Devils ‘open’ to transfer amid interest from two clubs

Man Utd Forward Joshua Zirkzee Hopes for Better Days Under Ruben Amorim

Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee is optimistic about his future at Old Trafford with new manager Ruben Amorim now in charge, as per reports.

The Red Devils have had a tough season so far, sitting 12th in the Premier League table as they prepare to face Everton this Sunday.

A Rocky Start to the Season

Man Utd struggled in the early part of the campaign, winning only three of their first nine league matches. This poor run led to the sacking of Erik ten Hag. Interim coach Ruud van Nistelrooy managed to secure four points from two matches before Amorim took over.

Amorim’s first Premier League game ended in a 1-1 draw against Ipswich, followed by a dramatic 3-2 comeback win over Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League. Despite limited time to implement his tactics, Amorim is hoping for an improved performance against Everton.

Goalscoring Woes

One of the biggest challenges for Manchester United this season has been scoring goals. Between Marcus Rashford, Rasmus Hojlund, and Joshua Zirkzee, the trio has managed just four league goals so far.

Zirkzee, who joined from Bologna in the summer for £36.5m, has faced heavy criticism for his performances. Heading into the Everton match, only three teams—Everton, Southampton, and Crystal Palace—have scored fewer goals than United in the league.

Zirkzee’s Future at Man Utd

Rumors suggest that Zirkzee could leave in January to make way for new signings. However, reports from Caught Offside claim that the Dutch forward is willing to wait before making any decisions about a potential transfer.

The 22-year-old believes that Amorim’s arrival could help him turn things around. Juventus and Bologna have reportedly shown interest in signing Zirkzee, with Manchester United open to a loan deal that includes a purchase obligation.

Despite speculation, Zirkzee is hopeful about his future under Amorim, preferring to stay and prove himself rather than leave midseason. He sees this as a fresh opportunity to thrive at Old Trafford.

Interest from Italy

Both Juventus and Bologna remain eager to bring Zirkzee back to Serie A, where he previously showcased his potential as a promising young talent.

As Man Utd gears up for their clash with Everton, Zirkzee is determined to make his mark and help the team overcome their attacking struggles. For now, he remains focused on improving under Amorim’s guidance.
